For Whom Our Training Programmes Are Intended
The main target groups of the ACTRAV-Turin's training programmes are leaders (executive board members), senior activists and technical staff of workers' organizations at national centres and industrial federation levels. Our curriculum are designed in a way to meet the current needs of full-time or part-time officers and staff of workers' organizations who have already acquired basic skills and knowledge on trade union management and general labour issues. Also, each training course has its specific target group(s) with certain pre-requisites for participation.

ACTRAV-Turin in the Global ACTRAV Programme
The Workers' Group of the ILO's Governing Body plays a central role in choosing the organisations eligible to send participants to the Programme's activities. Eligible organisations for a particular course are asked to nominate four candidates, at least two of whom must be women.
The participants are then chosen by ACTRAV-Turin in consultation with ACTRAV Geneva and its field specialists. ACTRAV-Turin also operates a database connected to the Centre's network which includes information concerning participants. This ensures quick and easy access to participant's data, which is especially important for organizing follow-up activities. The database has been used to provide ACTRAV and national/international labour organisations with information about the Programme's participant
