The main training courses are delivered at the ILO's International Training Centre in Turin, Italy, but the Programme also organizes other types of training courses - activities in the field, via distance education and advisory services.

The Workers' Activities Programme (ACTRAV) has developed SoliComm (Solidarity Communications) - the Internet based communication systems - to conduct training courses completely online (via computer communications) as well as for supporting residential training activities.
